Flight Fuel Cafe Launches Weekly “Open Mic” Series To Support Local Artists
Flight Fuel Cafe is hosting a weekly “Open Mic” to showcase talented musicians and other artists in the Pee Dee Area
FLORENCE, S.C. (March 24, 2026) - Flight Fuel Cafe, a beloved neighborhood coffee shop known for its welcoming community atmosphere and handcrafted beverages, is excited to announce the launch of its new weekly Open Mic Night, beginning on April 1. The free and public event will take place every Wednesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at its location on 123 Evans Street in Florence, S.C., offering a creative platform for local musicians, poets, comedians and storytellers.
Designed to bring the community together, Open Mic Night invites performers of all experience levels to share their voices in an intimate, supportive setting. Guests can enjoy an evening of live entertainment while sipping on Flight Fuel’s specialty coffee drinks and enjoying fresh, locally-sourced pastries. “Our goal is to create more than just a coffee shop. We want to be a space where creativity and community thrive,” said Captain Jack Reynolds, owner and founder of Flight Fuel Cafe. “Open Mic Night is about giving people a place to express themselves and connect with others.”
Performers can sign up in advance via the shop’s online registration form, or register in person starting at 5:45 p.m. Each participant will have approximately 20 minutes to perform. To celebrate the launch, Flight Fuel Cafe will offer discounted drinks, a special themed coffee beverage, and merchandise giveaways during the first event.
